The aim of this study was, at first, to re-consider the IR spectra of methyltriethoxysilane (MTEOS) catalysed with HCl (hydrolysis) and to compare them with IR spectra of MTEOS catalysed with trifluoroacetic acid (TFAcOH). TFAcOH as a strong carboxylic acid performs non-hydrolytic sol-gel process based on the condensation between the alkoxide and the acid function, liberating ester molecules (solvolysis). We assessed from the time-dependent IR attenuated reflection spectroscopic (IR ATR) measurements the solvolysis and hydrolysis reactions, formation of the oligomeric species and final condensation products. Additional evidence for the formation of these species was obtained from the spectra of films dip-coated from sols aged to different extent. The results of the IR spectral analysis showed that the structure of both xerogels consisted of irregular Tn (n = 8, 10, 12) cube-like species bridged via the ladder-like oligomers (in the case of MTEOS/TFAcOH) and open-chain trisiloxane species (for MTEOS/HCl). 29Si NMR spectra of MTEOS/TFAcOH showed only signals of T3 while MTEOS/HCl spectra showed beside T3 also T2 signals, in agreement with IR spectra results. From the XRD peaks at low Bragg angles (∼ 9–10°) we inferred that both xerogels consisted of nanocrystalline CH3-SiO3/2 species. In addition, the surface energy values of the films deposited from the corresponding sols were measured and the dispersive and polar portions correlated with the spectral features noted in the films. 相似文献

A newly derivatized cyclodextrin [octakis-(2,3-diacetyl-6-sulfato)-gamma-cyclodextrin] was investigated as a chiral selector in capillary zone electrophoresis in a study of the chiral separation of labetalol stereoisomers. Heptakis(2,3-diacetyl-6-sulfato)-beta-cyclodextrin (HDAS-beta-CD) and octakis(2,3-diacetyl-6-sulfato)-gamma-cyclodextrin (ODAS-gamma-CD) were shown to be effective in separating labetalol stereoisomers. Optimal separating conditions of the four stereoisomers of labetalol were achieved with 10 mM HDAS-beta-CD and 10 mM ODAS-gamma-CD in an acidic pH buffer of low molarity. Data illustrating the effects of capillary length and cyclodextrin concentration on the separation are presented. The longer capillary length and high voltage enabled the baseline separation of all isomers in less than 15 min. The optimized method was applied to the analysis of human control plasma containing labetalol utilizing solid-phase extraction (SPE) in the 96-well format. 相似文献

The importance of the thermal behaviour of glasses is illustrated. Some procedural characteristics for glass preparation upon quenching are discussed to distinguish the positive effects of increasing cooling rate. The basic thermodynamic quantities, kinetic data and procedural parameters are listed. The glass-transformation interval is treated in detail to demonstrate the temperature-dependences of heat capacity, enthalpy an Gibbs energy for as-quenched and annealed glasses, exemplifying processes of thermally stimulated reordering. Particular attention is paid to DTA measurements, which are of use for the determination of characteristic temperatures and to for the distinction of possible types of processes which occur upon reheating. vs. T plots. Different glass formation coefficients based on the onset temperatures are discussed to confirm the general knowledge that their maxima match with concentration regions close to that of invariant melting of the system.
Zusammenfassung Es wird die Bedeutung des thermischen Verhaltens von Glas verdeutlicht. Einige technologische Kenngrößen der Gasherstellung beim Abschrecken sowie grundlegende thermodynamische Größen, kinetische Daten und technologische Parameter, wurden beschrieben, um bei steigender Abkühlgeschwindigkeit positive Einflüsse erkennen zu können. Zur Unterstreichung thermisch stimulierter Umordnungsprozesse und zur Verdeutlichung der Temperaturabhängigkeit von Wärmekapazität, Enthalpie und freier Enthalpie von abgeschrecktem und kühlgeglühtem Glas wird das Intervall der Glasumformung ausführlich behandelt. Erhöhte Aufmerksamkeit wurde DTA-Messungen geschenkt, um charakteristische Temperaturwerte festzustellen und um eventuelle Typen der Prozesse, die beim Nachhitzen ablaufen, zu erkennen. Die häufigsten Fälle werden durch hypothetische H-T und T dta -T Diagramme illustriert. Verschiedene Glasformationskoeffizienten für die Anfangstemperatur wurden diskutiert, um den allgemeinen Fakt zu bekräftigen, daß deren Maximum mit den Konzentrationsbereichen nonvariant schmelzender Systeme übereinstimmt.

The formation of chlorinated phenols during the analysis of chromatographically pure polychloroalicyclic ketones by gas chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry was observed. Also in the mass spectra obtained by direct inlet, the presence of small amounts of chlorophenols was detected. We study the space-time properties of leptons and hadrons and find it necessary to extend general relativity to the gauge theory based on the four-dimensional affine group. This group translates and deforms the tetrads of the locally Minkowskian space-time. Its conserved currents, momentum, and hypermomentum, act as sources in the two field equations of gravity. A Lagrangian quadratic in torsion and curvature allows for the propagation of two independent gauge fields: translationale-gravity mediated by the tetrad coefficients, and deformational -gravity mediated by the connection coefficients. For macroscopic mattere-gravity coincides with general relativity up to the post-Newtonian approximation of fourth order. For microscopic matter -gravity represents a strong Yang-Mills type interaction. The problem of the test particle potential in the external homogeneous magnetic field is solved in the unmagnetized plasma. It is shown that for the case when the parallel component velocity of the test particle is greater than the thermal velocity of the background particles, the potential has the Coulomb character while for the case where the parallel component velocity is less than the thermal velocity the potential is of Debye character.
